Your support would be very much appreciated.

Spikes

Spikes must be Pyramid or Christmas Tree type to a maximum of 7mm.

Safety

  • Check for approaching runners, jumpers and throwers before crossing the track, run-up areas and in-field.

  • “TRACK” - a runner is warning that you are in the way and must move quickly to avoid collision.

  • “HEADS” - a thrower’s warning that an implement has been or is about to be thrown.

  • Do not cross throwing areas while practice or competition is in practice.

Inside Lane

To reduce wear on the track, where possible, minimise the use of Lanes 1 & 2.

Good Neighbours

All users are requested to respect the our neighbours when entering and leaving the facility, by not creating excessive noise, binning all rubbish and parking responsibly.

Dogs

Dolamore Mentone Track and Field Centre is designated as an on-lead dog area. Be aware that that dogs can be a hazard to runners. Given the mixed use of the Centre, it is important that you clean up after your dog.

SmarTracks

Embedded in the track is a timing system that can link to your mobile phone. The sensors are in Lane 1 for lap running and Lane 7 for sprints. Download the Smart Run App and see the instruction video here.
